Unpublished Manuscripts
Savery's personal papers, including childhood exercise books and family correspondence, are in the Lena Y. de Grummond Children's Literature Collection at the University of Southern Mississippi, as are the juvenilia and a handwritten copy of Emma, together with all of her published works and many other items. Most of the unpublished manuscripts, however, are in the manuscript collection in the Knight Library at the University of Oregon along with her correspondence with publishers. There are no other substantial collections of original Savery manuscripts.
